Brie en Croute

This is a fast, easy and delicious way to prepare Brie.  It is always a huge hit at parties!  We especially love it at Christmas time.  I prefer it with pepper jelly, but you can use honey or any kind of jam or jelly.  It is delicious in all those variations!

1 round of Brie, I prefer to cut off as much as the brine as possible.  Some people love it, it's up to you.

1 tube of Crescent roll dough Spread out in a round baking dish by placing the the thin points in the center then smoosh the dough together to close off all gaps.

Place the brie on the center of the dough.  Spread a good amount of the Pepper Jelly or Jam or drizzle Honey over the top of the Brie.  Then wrap up it up like a baby in a blanket.  Seal all opening in the dough as best as possible.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  Serve with Crackers.  I prefer Wheat Thins with this recipe, because they are crunchy and sturdy.
